Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal PadiMahi Arora (Kareena Kapoor) appears to be all…youth, riches, fame along with a fan following. However, what hides behind the facade is definitely an insecure lady, who's provided to bouts of hysteria, especially due to her complicated relationship together with her co-star Aryan Khanna (Arjun Rampal), a significant film-star, whose own marriage is around the rocks and who appears unwilling to invest in Mahi. To complicate things further, Mahi will get around the wrong side of industry large-hairpieces and finishes up seeing her career go to waste. Tossed in to the mix is cricketer Angad Paul (Randeep Hooda), a dashing sportsperson having a penchant for dating movie stars.

How Mahi handles to create a comeback if you take the aid of a clever PR professional pallavi (Divya Dutta) and takes up her personal and professional issues, is exactly what Bhandarkar's so known as magnum opus handles.

The film is really a 'Kareena Kapoor' product completely. Though you will find other stars within the film, it's Bebo who rules every scene together with her screen presence. However, it can be the smoothness that they continues to be given, however the hysterical, insecure actress that they plays, appears too stereotypical and can jump on your nerves, for we mostly see that simply side of her personality through the flick. But all stated and done, Kareena's fans are certain to benefit from the film. On their parts, Arjun and Randeep perform passably, though their roles (especially Hooda's) appear quite short.

Like pointed out before, Bhandarkar's Heroine will certainly provide you with a jolt of deja vu and help remind you of favor which had impressed everybody a couple of in the past. However, the director does not understand that exactly the same formula might not always work again. The funda of serving up glamour and stereotypical figures such as the gay designer, the bitchy starlets and also the hysterical, chain-smoking, pill-popping, insecure star continues to be completed to dying already! Furthermore, Bhandarkar fails to shed any light on Mahi's past and appears prepared to only concentrate on her various insecurities and bi-polar character, which means that Mahi appears a lot more like a caricature than the usual real person. Around the good side, Bhandarkar has invested lots of thought in Kareena's look and costumes which is clearly visible on screen, for Bebo appears like millions of dollars. However, mere looks isn't enough can provide relief, could it be?

The title track Main Heroine hoon will certainly help remind you of title tracks of Mission Impossible movies, although the song comes with visual impact. Aside from that, there is Halkat jawani, which will certainly cause you to tap your ft in tune using the music and also the touching Saaiyan, a solo classical Sufi track within the melodious voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Overall, the background music is very decent

Kareena Kapoor fans are certain to watch it once…for others, we advise purchasing a way DVD and watching it again…
